Exhibition by Joanna Tochman & Katarzyna Olma in Ränni-Gallery
14.10. – 31.10.2022
Opening friday 14.10. 6pm
”We live in surreal times. During the last two years, we learned that constant fear is a daily mood now. We woke up: What is the new name for the next mutated covid? Zelensky is still alive? How many koalas left after another fire in Australia? Ukrainian youth are cleaning bombarded buildings with rave music in the air. We are safe. Most of us are safe. Our heads create new surreal scenarios for our future. Am I going to survive? Do I need to live abroad? What am I doing with my life? In our exhibition we are trying to visualize what our brains created for us to feel more safe and calm during this period. Is it a dream or a nightmare?”
